Run by parents, powered by raccoons
Wateridge Raccoon Raiders is a neighbourhood soccer club for kids aged 4 to 9 in Wateridge Village, Ottawa. Small-sided games, balanced teams, and a season every family can follow.
How a season works
Tryouts
Short, low-pressure sessions so we can build balanced teams.
Teams
Coaches draft rosters and every family hears where their player landed.
Season
Weekly practices and games, right here in Wateridge Village Park.
Wrap-up
A last celebration game, medals for everyone, and a break before next season.
Who does what
President
Books the fields, runs the season calendar, and makes the tough calls.
Coaches
Run practices, pick lineups, and keep every kid smiling on game day.
Administrators
Handle registrations, fees, and the store, so the season runs smoothly.
Families
Get players to the field, cheer loudly, and pitch in when we need a hand.
Get involved
Coach
No experience needed, just a weeknight and a whistle. We train you.
Help on game day
Set up nets, run the snack table, or keep score. An hour goes a long way.
Sponsor a kit
Help a family cover uniform costs so every kid can suit up and play.
